ARTIST NOTES: Horses have long been a symbol of strength and endurance. This work makes a bold statement piece and looks incredibly effective against a light coloured wall. The swift loose brushstrokes of the horse perfectly compliment the animals nature, whereas the palate work in the background is representative and suggestive of the warm tones of wood within a stable. In completing this piece, I chose to only use black and white with touches of umber to keep a minimalist and extremely striking colour scheme.
